I love that in Cinema 4D, it doesn’t cost any extra money, effort, or time to set up two cameras instead of one. Render them out from two slightly different angles, apply a Photoshop color channel swap and voi-la! Get out your red and green glasses cause it’s 3D time.

Back When Renders Took Forever and a Day

My Second computer was a 333mhz machine that if I had let it keep going, would have taken 2 weeks to render a 2-minute 640×480 video of some cubes flying by the camera. That’s without textures, without shadows, without motion blur, and with only like 1000 polygons. So here’s this thing. It was like the first time I ever did any kind of refractive raytracing. I was super impressed with it at the time. Took something like 2 days to render this one image.
