One Picture Every Day

On the day I joined Instagram I decided to try the “365 challenge,” in which you post one photograph a day for a year. I had previously done this project and failed because I had no particular focus. So this time I chose patterns as my subject. It seemed to work, because this time I went the entire year without missing a single day. By that point it had become such a part of my daily routine, I decided to continue until I got bored – just after 3 years. I took a year-and-a-half-long break then decided to pick back up with a new project.
