I am honored to have been included in Grunwald Gallery’s online exhibition – Fallout – A project aimed at reflecting how the participating artists’ lives and work have shifted since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. I am brutally honest in admitting my daily life hasn’t been much affected.
I took Joe’s advice and started with one shape. Then I added another, and another. Pretty soon I ended up with this weird structure. It’s the first thing I rendered on the new PC build. took 37 seconds without Global Illumination… and two hours with.
I don’t think there was ever any doubt that my life was going to have something to do with art. But I also tell people that I never really liked drawing. I preferred Legos and building bow-and-arrow bows out of stink weed (I couldn’t smell it and didn’t think about the name). But I did in fact, on occasion, put pen or pencil to paper and make some art. Sometimes I still do. But not that much, really.
