Kbar is great. It’s a simple little plugin that lets you add custom buttons to After Effects’ interface. But the icons that comes with it are… not my favorite. So I made my own set. These icons cover everyday useful stuff that takes more than one click… from reversing keyframes to invoking plugins like True Comp Duplicator (another extremely useful plugin). I tried to organize the set in a logical way, make the icons feel consistent but representative of their commands, and match AE’s interface scheme. I hope that you find these useful… and if you think of anything I should add please let me know! Enjoy.
Not much of a pack to this one. I might return to it because the pattern doesn’t repeat seamlessly. The fabric stitches repeat as well as the printed pattern, and they don’t quite line up. Do you know an easier way to do this than lots of tedious photoshopping? Or is it just not worth while? Please tell me!
I used this free fabric normal map from everytexture.com for the renders above and below. That site honestly makes me wonder why I am doing this at all, but hey they don’t have this particular fabric pattern, now do they?
