Flow - An experimental art video
For the second year in a row Metro Productions’ sound designer Curtis Brown has been asked by the Richmond International Film Festival to head up the creation of a short opening video to kick off each RIFF screening. And I helped make it!
Most of the end product was actually shot in camera. There was a video projector on set with some abstract video playing that was then projected onto the dancer. My enhancements came in the form of liquid splashes and compositing work. Below are a few behind-the-scenes elements from post-production. Making the girl morph into a splash was done with pure brute force and the AE liquify tools.
